Plaster Quantity Calculator – Calculate Cement & Sand Required

Plaster quantity calculation is an essential step before starting wall plastering. It helps in accurate material estimation, reduces wastage, and saves cost.

Use our free online plaster calculator below to calculate cement and sand required for your wall plaster work.

Plaster Quantity Calculator

Plaster Calculation Formula

Step 1: Calculate wall area:

Area = Length × Height

Step 2: Calculate wet volume of plaster:

Wet Volume = Area × Thickness

Step 3: Convert to dry volume (considering shrinkage):

Dry Volume = Wet Volume × 1.33

For 1:4 mix ratio (Cement : Sand):

Total parts = 1 + 4 = 5

Cement = (1 / 5) × Dry Volume
Sand = (4 / 5) × Dry Volume

Why Plaster Calculation is Important?

  • Prevents material shortage
  • Accurate cost estimation
  • Reduces wastage
  • Helps in procurement planning

FAQs
