Formula for Column Volume
Volume = Length × Width × Height
For M20 mix ratio (1:1.5:3):
Dry Volume = Wet Volume × 1.54
Total Parts = 1 + 1.5 + 3 = 5.5
Cement = (1 / 5.5) × Dry Volume
Sand = (1.5 / 5.5) × Dry Volume
Aggregate = (3 / 5.5) × Dry Volume
Example
If column size is 0.3m × 0.3m × 3m:
Wet Volume = 0.3 × 0.3 × 3 = 0.27 m³
