The planning, construction, design, and maintenance of roads, bridges, dams, canals, and buildings are all covered under civil engineering. Graduate and postgraduate versions of the course are available. 

The Civil Engineers' activities are divided into the following categories: Construction Management (CM) and Building Technology (BT) Engineering of the Environment and Water Resources Transportation Engineering (TE) Geo-technical Engineering (GE) Structural Engineering (SE).
